What you get

• The songs available on this site are completely free, released under the Creative Commons Licence. They are DRM-free, which means you can transfer them to as many computers or other devices as you need without restriction. You can even share them with others, though we prefer that you simply let them know about this site instead.
• Songs are available in your choice of two files formats: 256kbps mp3 and flac.
• Each song is comprehensively tagged, including lyrics and comments where applicable. You can configure some media players to show this information within the program; alternatively, if you right click on the file and view the properties, you can find the info in there as well.
• The artwork for each release is available in hi-res format (1425x1425 pixels), suitable for printing for those that are so inclined.

What you give

• You'll notice a PayPal donation button on the side of each page. You are under no obligation to use it, but if you can afford it, we ask that you at least consider donating whatever you think the files you've downloaded are worth. The first 10% of this money goes to charity. The next cut covers hosting and bandwidth costs. After that - if there's anything left over - it will either be spent on promoting the artists found here through traditional advertising or whatnot.
• Almost as important, please use the commenting system to leave feedback about the songs or release you've downloaded. Especially if it's something nice - the bands like that.
