Cornerstone

I noticed The Crucified is back together again. Dreamin that this gets a trend going and we see Mortal in all their glory.

Re:Cornerstone
I know almost certainly this won't happen. They are both too busy w/ other things, and have stated before that they have no intention of doing a reunion.

Sorry! :(

Re:Cornerstone
speaking of Cornerstone, are any goth industrial or synthpop bands playing this year? i looked at their scheduled artists online and didn't see any familiar names...

when it comes down to it, these are the only genres that i actually listen to any christian music in at all.

Re:Cornerstone
To be honest, I personally didn't do any booking this year. There's been a lot going on w/ my family, and my music has kind of taken off. That's pretty much been it for me.

Leper will certainly be there. If I can make it out there, I'll perform on one of the generator stages.

Don't know much beyond that. Sorry.

Re:Cornerstone
Sanctuary hasn't gotten their schedule up yet, to my knowledge, but Coriolis will be playing there on the 4th of July, as well as during the Unified Underground set on Wednesday, the 1st.

I also know that Leper and Paris Oroborus are confirmed, but I don't know what stages they will be on yet. (I think Leper is also playing the Wednesday slot, for Unified Underground.)

Bridgeshadows still is a possibility, but nothing has been booked yet.

Lastly, I know that there's been talk of both Virgin Black and The Awakening to make an appearance, but at this point it's pure "rumor." Nothing has been confirmed with either of them.

P.S.- The fact that Stavesacre is playing this year will certainly make it worth the trip from Pennsylvania. God forbid they play at the same time we're scheduled, I may have to cancel OUR show. ;)

Re:Cornerstone
if all these people show up, then i'll be super pumped!

i never saw bridgeshadows or coriolis live. I love Leper. Seeing Virgin Black would be epic, but every time I hear rumors about them coming it turns out to be false. having the Awakening back would be excellent of course! And it would be cool to see Don perform.

This has brightened my day considerably! I'm going over to the cornerstone site to buy my ticket!

Re:Cornerstone
If there was an opportunity, Autumn's Descent would be happy to play.

We're not too excited about applying for a new band showcase stage with all the high school garage bands though. AD has been around since 1995 and consider ourselves a little more seasoned. We would be more than happy to pick up the C-stone Encore Stage torch that has been vacated by our friends in COD, Mortal, and Klank...

:)

No kidding, I'll make the drive this year for Stavesacre alone. It's been at least eight years since I got to see them perform. And with the sort of luck I had last year, they'll be scheduled at the same time as the other two or three bands I actually care about... (I had to run back and forth between mewithoutYou, Living Sacrifice, and Blaster the Rocketman/Voice of the Mysterons last year.)
